Enterprise blockchain company Ripple opened speaker applications for Swell 2026 on April 14, outlining a major conference in New York City scheduled for Oct. 27-29. The event combines its Swell and Apex gatherings into a single forum targeting finance professionals, developers, and researchers.

Ripple Swell, launched in 2017, has centered on institutional leaders, banks, policymakers, and enterprise partnerships, with a stronger emphasis on global payments, regulation, and traditional finance adoption. XRPL Apex, by contrast, has functioned as the official summit for the XRP Ledger community, focusing on developers, technical builders, DeFi, NFTs, and roadmap discussions tied to on-chain innovation. The 2026 merger brings those audiences together under one event structure in New York City, aligning Swell’s institutional reach with Apex’s builder-driven ecosystem focus.
