
PANews May 5 news, according to CoinDesk, Crypto.com announced that its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Steven Kalifowitz will officially step down on June 30 and will thereafter serve as a consultant to the CEO of the company.
The company stated that during his nearly six-year tenure, Kalifowitz drove Crypto.com's transformation from a crypto application to a global brand, leading over $1 billion in brand and marketing investments, including large-scale sports and entertainment sponsorships and global advertising campaigns. Among the most representative projects are the $70 million, 20-year naming rights to the Los Angeles arena (Crypto.com Arena) and the $100 million global marketing campaign in collaboration with actor Matt Damon. Additionally, the company has established long-term partnerships with top sports IPs like F1 and UFC.
Crypto.com pointed out that these strategic partnerships have significantly enhanced its brand awareness globally and reached millions of users. Kalifowitz previously served as head of branding at Twitter and was president of the real estate platform Localize.city. After this adjustment, he will continue to participate in the company’s strategic affairs as a consultant.
